(Rev 13:18).
15
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark
in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 14:11.
17
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for
it is the number of a man;
and his number
is
Six hundred threescore
and
six.

Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was
six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,

Solomon is a
prototype of Christ
and a
prototype of the Antichrist
God said of Solomon: “I have chosen him
to be
my son, and I will be his father”
(1 Chr 28:6).
That is why he is a
prototype of Christ.
“Solomon is a
type of Christ,
but he is a
type of Antichrist
also”
(Austin Farrer).
We must turn back to the 666, the most notorious of the riddles, and to the history of Solomon, which is its source.
Solomon is a type of Christ, but he is a type of Antichrist also.
Almost every type has this doubleness …
Solomon built the temple, then proceeded to apostatize at leisure.
The throne of David shook, the kingdom was divided, and messianic glory did not return for a thousand years.
The story of the good Solomon continues as far as the visit of the Queen of Sheba …
From the queen’s departure onwards the King breaks the law of king-ship
[i.e.
Deut 17:14–20]
clause by clause …
The damnable number
[of
666 talents of gold]
appears in the very next verse after the withdrawal of Sheba
(1 Kgs 10:14).
The root of all evil
(1 Tim 6:10)
begins the King’s downfall.
St John’s use of Solomon’s history as a source-book of numbers makes it virtually certain that he found the number of the Beast here.
Early in his reign, prior to the visit of the Queen of Sheba, King Solomon acted as a
prototype of Christ.
Subsequently, the Queen’s flattery changed his heart: “You have more wisdom and wealth than I had heard”
(1 Kgs 10:7).
6
And she
[the queen of Sheba]
said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.
2 Chr 9:5.
7
Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen
it: and, behold, the half was not told me:
thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.
Immediately after this visit, upon gazing at his wealth and believing the honeyed words of the Queen of Sheba (“thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard”), Solomon began to sin.
Here, he already appears as a
prototype of the Antichrist: “Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD”
(1 Kgs 11:6).
1
But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians,
and
Hittites;

Of the nations
concerning
which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you:
for
surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
Exod 34:15-16.
Deut 7:3.
3
And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and
his wives turned away his heart.
4
For it came to pass, when Solomon was old,
that
his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and
his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God,
as
was
the heart of David his father.

For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

And
Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD,
as
did
David his father.

Pre-revolutionary situation
According to the biblical narrative, such a system, based on greed, proves to be unstable.
It turns out, in Israel's telling, that such systemic avarice is unsustainable.
In the short run the collapse of Solomon's regime is initiated, according to the narrative, by prophetic utterance. Ahijah the Shilonite (that is, from the old sanctuary and tradition of Shiloh)
evokes a revolutionary possibility in an address to Jeroboam, who is himself implicated in Solomon's policy of forced labor
(1 Kgs 11:28-40).
The narrative would have us believe that a “rumor of alternative” cast as a word from YHWH set in motion the rejection of Solomon's establishment. The biblical narrative characteristically asserts that such utterance that subverts the system is laden with immense practical possibility, which is why “Solomon sought … to kill Jeroboam”
(1 Kgs 11:40).
It is for this reason that every oppressive regime is nervous about poetic, artistic utterance.
Walter Brueggemann
Money and Possessions
Ch.4: Joshua, Judges, 1-2 Samuel, 1-2 Kings: The Contest, V
Why, then, did no one rise up against Solomon when he became a
prototype of the Antichrist
and began doing
"evil in the sight of the LORD"
(1 Kgs 11:6)?
It is very simple: because Solomon
had built the Temple to God.
For this reason, he was regarded as a
holy man
capable of performing only
God’s works.
In the modern world, where
the Church is the Temple of God
(2 Cor 6:16),
the role of Solomon (and, by extension, of
Christ
and subsequently the
Antichrist)
is played by the
Vatican.
Ratzinger (the future Pope Benedict XVI)
openly stated
that “that the Church is, until the Last Judgment, both
Church of Christ
and
Church of the Antichrist: 'the
Antichrist
belongs to the Church, grows in it and with it up to the great
discessio
[separation], which will be introduced by the definitive
revelatio'”.
The consequence of this radical thesis, which divides and at the same time unites a Church of the wicked and a Church of the just, is,
according to Ratzinger, that the Church is, until the Last Judgment, both Church of Christ and Church of the Antichrist: “From this it follows that
the Antichrist belongs to the Church,
grows in it and with it up to the great
discessio
[separation], which will be introduced by the definitive
revelatio”.
Incidentally, it is worth pausing here to consider the succession of the episcopate. Solomon’s son Rehoboam was a direct descendant of Solomon (his grandfather was David)
and did “what was evil in the sight of the Lord”
(1 Kgs 14:22).
Even Solomon himself, the builder of the Temple of God, “did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, and did not fully follow the Lord, as had his father David”
(1 Kgs 11:6).
Thus, parents cannot guarantee that their children will resemble them or inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. No one has the power to offer such a guarantee. Of course, there is a certain risk involved here, linked to freedom of choice, but without that choice, there would be no human freedom. The parable of the Prodigal Son speaks to this
(Luke 15:11–32).
The same applies to the succession of the episcopate. No one can guarantee this succession. No one can guarantee that the bishop being ordained is not doing so purely out of a love of money. This holds true for both the Western and Eastern Churches.
Pope Leo XIV knows that
the Virgin Mary, at Fatima,
asked for the
Consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart.
This request comes from God (“God asks the Holy Father”), therefore it must be fulfilled and will be fulfilled. But Leo XIV, like his predecessors (and like Solomon), continues to do “what was evil in the sight of the Lord”
(1 Kgs 11:6).
On June 13, 1929, Lúcia Santos experienced an apparition of the Most Holy Trinity and Our Lady. At that time, the Mother of God
said to Lúcia Santos:
“The moment has come when God asks the Holy Father, in union with all the bishops of the world, to consecrate Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means. So many souls does the Justice of God condemn for sins committed against Me, that I have come to ask for reparation: sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray.”
But since no Consecration took place,
in August 1931 the Lord said
to Lucia with regret:
“They did not wish to heed My request!…
Like the King of France, they will repent and do it, but it will be too late. Russia will have already
spread its errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions against the Church. The Holy Father will suffer much.”
What happened to the King of France?
1689-06-17
Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque
wrote a letter
setting forth the Lord's wish addressed to King Louis XIV: the king was to consecrate himself, his court, and all of France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
1690-10-17
Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque passed away at the age of 43.
Neither King Louis XIV nor his successors—Louis XV and later Louis XVI—fulfilled this request.
1789-06-17
In France, deputies of the Third Estate, supported by the lower ranks of the clergy and nobility, proclaimed themselves the
National Assembly
at the proposal of Emmanuel-Joseph Sieyès.
1789-07-09
The
National Assembly
declared itself the
National Constituent Assembly—the supreme representative and legislative body of the people.
1792
While a prisoner in the Temple fortress, Louis XVI secretly consecrated France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, but it was too late, as he was no longer the actual ruler of France.
1793-01-21
Louis XVI was executed “for treason against the nation and usurpation of power.”
From this, one can draw a conclusion about what will happen to the Vatican in June 2029, and what will happen to Pope Leo XIV in 2032. That’s right: the Vatican will cease to exist in 2029.

Not all wisdom is the same
5
In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said,
Ask what I shall give thee.
2 Chr 1:7.
1 Kgs 9:2.
6
And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee;
and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as
it is
this day.

8
And thy servant
is
in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.
2 Chr 1:9.
9
Give therefore thy servant an understanding
(שָׁמַע, shâmaʻ)
heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?
Wsd 6:21.
10
And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
11
And God said unto him,
Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life;
neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies;
but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;
12
Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise
(חָכָם, châkâm)
and an understanding

heart;
so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.
1 Kgs 4:29.
1 Kgs 5:12.
1 Kgs 10:23.
13
And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked,
both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.

Притч 3:16.
Solomon asked the Lord: Give therefore thy servant an understanding
(שָׁמַע, shâmaʻ)
heart … for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?”
(1 Kgs 3:9).
But the Lord gave him “a wise
(חָכָם, châkâm)
and an understanding
(בִּין, bîyn)
heart;
so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee”
(1 Kgs 3:12).
שָׁמַע
—
shâmaʻ,
shaw-mah';
a primitive root;
to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.;
causatively, to tell, etc.):—× attentively, call (gather)
together, × carefully, × certainly, consent, consider, be content, declare, × diligently, discern, give ear, (cause to, let, make to)
hear(-ken, tell), × indeed, listen, make (a)
noise, (be)
obedient, obey, perceive, (make a)
proclaim(-ation), publish, regard, report, shew (forth), (make a)
sound, × surely, tell, understand, whosoever (heareth), witness.
חָכָם
—
châkâm,
khaw-kawm;
from
חָכַם;
wise, (i.e. intelligent, skillful or artful):—cunning (man), subtle, (un-), wise((hearted), man).
בִּין
—
bîyn,
bene;
a primitive root;
to separate mentally (or distinguish), i.e.(generally)
understand:—attend, consider, be cunning, diligently, direct, discern, eloquent, feel, inform, instruct, have intelligence, know, look well to, mark, perceive, be prudent, regard, (can)
skill(-full), teach, think, (cause, make to, get, give, have)
understand(-ing), view, (deal)
wise(-ly, man).
Solomon’s request embodies an “understanding (שָׁמַע, shâmaʻ)
heart” . That is, he asked the Lord God to grant him the ability to hear Him, just as Adam “heard (שָׁמַע, shâmaʻ)
the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day”
(Gen 3:8).
8
And they heard ( שָׁמַע, shâmaʻ)
the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Пс 137:6.
Amos 9:2.
But Solomon received “a wise (בִּין, châkâm)
and an understanding (בִּין, bîyn)
heart,” i.e., “a wise (cunning in management)
heart and an understanding (in knowledge by the mind)
heart.”
[The word (בִּין, bîyn)
first appears only in chapter 41 of the book of Genesis.]
33
Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet ( בִּין, bîyn)
and wise ( חָכָם, châkâm), and set him over the land of Egypt.
The Lord granted Solomon what was necessary for the construction of the Temple of the Lord, for He had said to David: “Solomon thy son, he shall build My house and My courts: for I have chosen him
to be
My son, and I will be his Father.”
(1 Chr 28:6).
The Lord God knew beforehand that Solomon would not long remain a
prototype of Christ,
nor long bear the honorable title of “Son of the Lord,” but would falter and fall into sin—“Solomon did what was evil in the sight of the Lord”
(1 Kgs 11:6),—thereby becoming a
prototype of the Antichrist. God knew that the Jews had matured enough to build a Temple to God, yet had not grown sufficiently to even begin to accept Christ
(Eph 4:13),—whose Body is the Third Temple of God: “He was speaking of the temple of His body”
(John 2:21).
19
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Matt 26:61.
Matt 27:40.
Мк 14:58.
Мк 15:29.
20
Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21
But he spake of the temple of his body.
Thus, the Lord God made Solomon intelligent, skilled, adroit, shrewd, discerning, wise, and diligent. In short, God enabled Solomon to build the Temple of the Lord. Clearly, constructing a magnificent Temple required vast sums of money, and the Lord granted Solomon great wealth. Yet, that wealth corrupted Solomon’s heart. He came to believe that the riches belonged to him personally, rather than having been given to him for the fulfillment of a specific mission—the building of the Temple. Only the true Son of God—Christ—was able to withstand the temptation of wealth: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God”
(Matt 4:4).
3
And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4
But he answered and said, It is written,
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Deut 8:3.
Luke 4:4.
⇑
Wealth and Fame
The Lord also gave Solomon (to test him)
“both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days”
(1 Kgs 3:13).
Solomon did not pass this test. He began as a
prototype of Christ
but ended as a
prototype of Antichrist.
When Solomon’s heart became haughty, he became a
prototype of Antichrist, yet he retained the wisdom “to judge this thy so great a people?”
(1 Kgs 3:9).
A survey of the narrative of 1 Kings reveals
that Solomon organises a carefully controlled and substantial infrastructure with administrative centralisation,
but among the most controversial of his initiatives is
forced labour
(מַס, maç)
(1 Kgs 5:13),
the same infamous term that is used for the Israelite labour-gangs imposed by Pharaoh in
Exod 1:11.
This clear echo of Egyptian servitude has the effect of comparing Solomon’s burgeoning regime to the tyranny of Pharaoh, and it is difficult to escape the inference that a proportion of Solomon’s wealth is generated precisely through similar, if not identical, means of coercion.
Perhaps less well known, but equally troubling and illuminating,
is Solomon’s reconfiguration of Israel’s traditional tribal allotments into more favourable tax districts, usually governed by appointees with ties to the royal family (see
1 Kgs 4:7-19).
This implies that the king’s lavish table in Jerusalem is supplied at the expense of ordinary Israelites, and the recounting of Solomon’s nepotism at this point must be viewed as a subtle critique of his increasingly oppressive policies.
More obvious and well known is Solomon’s rampant predilection for intermarriage, first revealed in his marriage to Pharaoh’s daughter in
1 Kgs 3:1
but then shockingly unveiled in the disclosure of 700 wives of royal birth in
1 Kgs 11:1-3
from a legion of surrounding (and forbidden)
nations.
These partnerships no doubt created a network of alliances that produced Solomon’s military–industrial complex, replete with the acquisition of horses from Egypt – surely symbols of a war machine – in clear violation of
Deut 17:16-17.
…
… the language of wisdom and discernment that one finds in
Rev 13:18
is quite at home in the traditions about Solomon and his wisdom. …
Then too there is the fact that the temple is not the only cultic installation sponsored by Solomon.
Immediately after the disclosure of his foreign wives,
1 Kgs 11:7-8
narrates that Israel’s monarch erects shrines for Chemosh and Molech – notorious deities from neighbouring countries who, according to the biblical authors at least, required human sacrifice from their devotees.
Finally, one should note that the temple is not the most impressive construction project that Solomon undertook:
his own palace is considerably larger and took almost twice as long to build (compare
1 Kgs 6:2,38
with
1 Kgs 7:1-2).
⇑
The main sources of Solomon's wealth
The biblical text identifies five sources of the wealth of Solomon, three of which figure prominently. … There can be little doubt, in this imaginative account, that the primary source of the wealth of Solomon is his aggressiveness and effectiveness in international commerce, …
…
The external gains of commerce have an internal match, namely, taxation, the second source of the wealth of Solomon. The report of 1 Kings
4:7–19
concerns twelve tax officers who preside over twelve tax districts. …
…
A third source of revenue was simply cheap labor, whereby the powerful Jerusalem establishment could grow wealthy at the expense of those conscripted for government at low pay. The two reports on forced labor yield different scenarios, perhaps indicating that the policy of forced labor was in dispute or at least that there was a difference of opinion on how best to report this ominous underside of royal prosperity (1 Kgs 5:13–18
[Heb 5:27–32];
9:15–23). … Most ominous for our present consideration, the initial report of Israelites in Egyptian bondage described them as a forced labor unit engaged in building supply cities for Pharaoh: “Therefore they set taskmasters over them to oppress them with forced labor. They built supply cities, Pithom and Rameses, for Pharaoh”
(Exod 1:11).

Solomon. Israel’s Icon of Human Achievement
Ch.7: “Solomon” as Economic Genius
Evidence that Solomon’s wealth was achieved through the arduous labor of the people of Israel is found in the request the people made to Solomon’s son, Rehoboam, upon his accession to the throne: “Thy father made our
yoke grievous:
now therefore ease thou somewhat the
grievous servitude
of thy father, and his
heavy yoke
that he put upon us”
(2 Chr 10:4).
3
And they sent and called him. So Jeroboam and all Israel came and spake to Rehoboam, saying,
4
Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore ease thou somewhat the grievous servitude of thy father, and his heavy yoke that he put upon us,
and we will serve thee.

The Number of the Beast, 666, represents the pursuit of wealth
It follows, then, that the number of the beast, 666, represents the
pursuit of wealth.
The love of money is the
root of all evil
(1 Tim 6:10).
“You cannot serve God and Mammon
[wealth]”
(Matt 6:24).
19
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Luke 12:21,33.
1 Tim 6:19.
…
24
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other;
or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.
Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Luke 16:13.
“The love of money is the root of all evil”
(1 Tim 6:10).
9
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and
into
many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
Mark 4:19.
Luke 12:15.
10
For
the love of money is the root of all evil:
which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Such is the law of life here—a fleeting life. And why should you be saved “so as by fire”
(1 Cor 3:15)?
One ought to rejoice in the Lord, both in this life and in the life to come.
13
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire;
and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
Isa 48:10.
1 Peter 1:7.
14
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but
he himself shall be saved;
yet so as by fire.
Almost all of us strive for wealth: we need wealth for medical care, for our children’s education, and simply for a comfortable life. In other words, we place our hope in money rather than in the Lord God—“through Whom all things were made,” the One “for whom
are
all things, and by whom
are
all things”
(Heb 2:10).
It turns out that we (almost all of us)
have “a mark placed … on the right hand … or on the forehead”
(Rev 13:16)—that is, upon our deeds and our thoughts.
Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for
it is the number of a man;
and his number
is
Six hundred threescore
and
six.
Rev 17:9.
According to St. Seraphim of Sarov: “The true goal of the Christian life
consists in the acquisition of the Holy Spirit of God.” That is why it is said of those who harbor a yearning for wealth in their hearts: “they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name”
(Rev 14:11).
And it is not so easy to rid oneself of this sin: “Here is the
patience of the saints:
here
are
they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus”
(Rev 14:12).
9
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive
his
mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation;
and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Psa 75:8.
Isa 66:24.
Jer 25:9.
Rev 16:19.
11
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and
they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Isa 34:10.
Matt 25:41.
John 5:29.

Here is the patience of the saints: here
are
they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Let us recall that Judas betrayed Christ for thirty pieces of silver
(Matt 26:15).
It is also a striving for wealth: “I will increase my prosperity—albeit not by a great deal.”
14
Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
Mark 14:10.
Luke 22:4.

And said
unto them,
What will ye give me,
and I will deliver him unto you?
And they covenanted with him for

“All of America—that is, the entire United States, and through it, the whole world—owes a debt to the Fed” (Simon Tsipis).
The mastery of usury… ultimately led to the emergence of a hybrid known as the Federal Reserve System.
All of America—that is, the entire United States, and through it, the whole world—owes a debt to the Fed. …
But the paradox is that
the Fed is such a brilliant scheme that it is impossible to ever pay it off.
…
Because when the Fed issued the first dollar loan to the US, that dollar could never be paid back, since… one had to return the dollar plus interest.
And the interest had to be paid in dollars, yet only the Fed prints dollars. …
The very idea—to create the magic of money.
Many say they brought this concept from Babylon.

Artificial intelligence is the equivalent of Solomon's wisdom
Nowadays, AI (artificial intelligence)
is being designated to “govern the peoples”—to rule over them in the most “rational” manner. AI is the modern equivalent of the wisdom of Solomon: “Here is wisdom

Let him who has understanding

(ψηφίζω)
the number of the beast”
(Rev 13:18).
The time has come to talk about the

And then, of course, you can also think of it as Newman did, where it's sort of the final dictator of the one world state, where it's still
[i.e.
Antichrist].
You stress it more as a person.
You can think of it as a type, a system, a person.
It has something to do in this post Christian
[era].
It's something that's sort of a possibility in this post Christian world.
It is in some ways, and it's related to Christ in a very complicated way.
So the theological question you can always ask, is it possible to be too Christian?
And in theory,
no.
But in practice, if you think you're more Christian than Christ, you're in trouble. …
[video 14:11]:
Why would we have a crazy
surveillance state?
Why would we do this?
But if you're scared enough, if you're scared enough of these things, that's the weapon.
And this is sort of where my speculative thesis is that if the
Antichrist
were to come to power,
it would be by talking about
Armageddon
all the time.
He'll scare people—then offer to save them. …
The slogan of the
Antichrist
is “peace and safety”
(1 Thess 5:3)
…
[video 19:07]:
And the fears about a
one-world state
are downplayed because they are the solution to the other ones.
That is the
self-governing, politically atheist humans governing themselves.
Solution to
Armageddon
is …
effective world government
with
extremely effective policing
to stop dangerous technologies from being developed.
And
to force people to not have too diverse a set of views,
because the diversity of views is what's going to push some scientists to develop technologies they shouldn't be developing.
And so we are just so grooved to the
Antichrist
solution.
We don't worry about it because it presents itself as the solution to all these others.
And then my intuition is that what that tells me is that we should worry about both.
But if you had to prioritize them, you should be way more worried about the
Antichrist
because no one's worried about it.
And of course, I don't know how literally one should take these biblical accounts, but in the biblical accounts, the
Antichrist comes first
because people are more scared of
Armageddon
than the
Antichrist,
perhaps.
The
Antichrist comes first.
It doesn't quite work, the one world state doesn't work, it still goes haywire.
Maybe you have a
fantastic communist government,
but somehow the AI still goes mad and you still get to
Armageddon.
But that's what comes first. …
[video 27:33]:
Ask the questions that are not being asked questions that are not being asked.
Maybe the way I frame them are too dramatic.
But if that's what it takes for us to ask these questions, that's better than being stuck in,
I don't know, in some weird, silly
“Groundhog Day”
game.
I think my intuition is the stakes are very high, the political stakes are high because there are a lot of crazy things that can happen.
It's hard to evaluate which of these candidates are better.
It's not just about the price of eggs or marginal inflation rates or things like this.
It is about maintaining freedom in the US and also not sleepwalking into
Armageddon.
…
[video 29:48]:
What I hope to retrieve is a sense of the stakes, of the urgency of the question, the stakes are really, really high.
It seems very dangerous that we're at a place where so few people are concerned about the
Antichrist.
…
[video 32:55]:
One obvious candidate for the
Antichrist
is the United States. …
I think the US is a natural candidate for both, and certainly the Cold War history, 1949 to 1989, I think Christian democracy was
Katechon
(κατέχων).
Anti-communism was the supranational ideology that stood against
the one world state of communism.
Again, this is very speculative, but if you think
the one world state
is a military power, it's a financial, economic power, somehow an ideological power.
There still is a natural way where if things go wrong in the US it would be the fulfillment of FDR's vision of the
“New Dealers”
running the world.
And so the US is ground zero of globalization and it's ground zero of the resistance to bad globalization, we're both.
That's why it matters so much, the President of the United States maybe is the catacomb, maybe it's a type of
Antichrist,
but presidential elections matter.
They don't matter, President of Europe, and I think the intuition that they matter in the US is correct.
I'm not saying that will be the case for all time, but certainly second half of the 20th century and still today. …

Part II: Apocalypse Now?
“Let the Soviet Union save civilization,
and then we will undermine it from within and bring it back into our fold…”
(V.V. Pyakin).
[video 20:03]:
And right now, one must understand a simple fact: the globalists—those
responsible for the entire civilization on planet Earth—live here and cannot simply leave for another planet.
They need Russia to save civilization on the planet.
That is why they are forced to enter into various agreements with Putin.
They do not want to do this;
they have no desire for Russia.
Yet, they have no other option if the ship is to stay afloat.
They want to repeat the scenario used with the Soviet Union:
let the Soviet Union save civilization,
and then we will undermine it from within and bring it back into our fold—just as was done in 1991—and … carve up the country.
It is necessary to note the following fact here. The construction of
USSR 2.0
will eradicate, across the board, the principal vice of capitalism:
“the people’s striving for enrichment.”
And this is precisely the “number of the beast, 666,” imposed
(Rev 13:16)
“on their right hand or on their foreheads”—that is, imposed upon their deeds and their thinking.
Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for
it is the number of a man;
and his number
is
Six hundred threescore
and
six.
Rev 17:9.
“Maybe you have a
fantastic communist government” (Peter Thiel)
based on artificial intelligence—that is, an “effective world government
with
extremely effective policing” (Peter Thiel). Soviet Union 2.0 would feature an ideal Gosplan 2.0, driven by artificial intelligence. In that case, the market would be completely destroyed, and everything would be planned—specifically, the production volume of any given product would be determined by the plan.
⇑
The Final Paradox
But here lies the paradox. In a “police state with total surveillance,” the people’s “drive for enrichment” would inevitably vanish. Instead of
shaping personalities
based on a “drive for enrichment,” artificial intelligence (Gosplan 2.0)
would create a state where everything is planned, where everyone is a paid slave, and where the “drive for enrichment” is suppressed to the utmost.
It turns out that
the Antichrist is working for Christ.
The desire to “make some extra money”—that was something
no one
understood at the end of the Soviet era. …
And only now are we beginning to realize that they simply wanted to
rob
us. …
In other words, it’s “man is a wolf to man,” whereas our upbringing—generally speaking—has always been “man is a friend, comrade, and brother to man,”
to this day.
Consequently, the Antichrist has reached a point where he is undermining the very foundation of his own existence. He breeds people who can no longer “strive for wealth”;
they lose the sense of earthly existence and set their sights on heaven. Nothing here tempts them anymore;
they realize that their time on earth is fleeting and begin to understand that everything must be entrusted to God.
Thus, Satan finally suffers defeat: “if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end”
(Mark 3:26).
24
And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
Matt 12:25.
Luke 11:17.
25
And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26
And
if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
