¹ At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
² And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, Мк 9, 36.
³ And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted (μὴ στραφῆτε), and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
⁴ Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Мк 10, 14. 1 Кор 14, 20.
⁵ And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
⁶ But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Мк 9, 42. Лк 17, 1.

⁶ Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn (στραφέντες) again (στραφέντες) and rend you.

³¹ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 1 Пет 5, 8.
³² But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted (ἐπιστρέψας), strengthen thy brethren. Мф 16, 18. Ин 17, 15.

³⁷ But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
³⁸ That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Ис 53, 1. Рим 10, 16.
³⁹ Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
⁴⁰ He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted (ἐπιστραφῶσιν), and I should heal them. Ис 6, 9-10. Мф 13, 14. Мк 4, 12. Лк 8, 10. Деян 28, 26. Рим 11, 8.

²⁴ And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.
²⁵ And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,
²⁶ Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: Иер 5, 21. Иез 12, 2. Мф 13, 14. Мк 4, 12. Лк 8, 10. Ин 12, 40. Рим 11, 8.
²⁷ For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted (ἐπιστρέψωσιν), and I should heal them.
²⁸ Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it. Лк 24, 47. Деян 13, 46.
