²¹ And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

⁶ Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

²² Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. Кол 3, 18. Тит 2, 5.
²³ For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 1 Кор 11, 3. Еф 1, 22.
²⁴ Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Гал 1, 4. Кол 3, 19.
²⁶ That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 1 Пет 3, 21. Тит 3, 5. Евр 9, 14.
²⁷ That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Песн 4, 7. 2 Кор 11, 2. Еф 1, 4.
²⁸ So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
²⁹ For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
³⁰ For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
³¹ For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife (προσκολληθήσεται πρὸς τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ), and they two shall be one flesh. Быт 2, 24. Мф 19, 5. Мк 10, 7. 1 Кор 6, 16.
³² This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
³³ Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

¹² All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Сир 37, 31. 1 Кор 10, 23.
¹³ Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. Мф 22, 30. Рим 6, 13, 19.
¹⁴ And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. 2 Кор 4, 14. 1 Фес 4, 14.
¹⁵ Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. Еф 5, 30.
¹⁶ What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. Быт 2, 24. Мф 19, 5. Мк 10, 7. Еф 5, 31.
¹⁷ But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (ὁ δὲ κολλώμενος τῷ κυρίῳ ἓν πνεῦμά ἐστιν).
¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
¹⁹ What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1 Пет 2, 5. 1 Кор 3, 16. 2 Кор 6, 16.
²⁰ For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. Деян 20, 28. 1 Пет 1, 19. Гал 3, 13.

³ Your eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Baalpeor: for all the men that followed Baalpeor, the LORD thy God hath destroyed them from among you. Чис 25, 4. Нав 22, 17. Пс 105, 28.
⁴ But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God (וְאַתֶּם הַדְּבֵקִים בַּיהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם) are alive every one of you this day.

²⁰ Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave (וּבֹו תִדְבָּק), and swear by his name. Втор 6, 13. Мф 4, 10. Лк 4, 8.
²¹ He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.
²² Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude. Быт 46, 27.

²² For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; Втор 6, 5.
