Bible. God. One Sat on the Throne
The Apostle John saw that “a throne was set in heaven, and
one
sat on the throne.
And
he that sat
was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone”
(Rev 4:2-3).
The same Apostle John writes: “No man hath seen God (θεὸν)
at any time;
the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared
him”
(John 1:18).
He who swears by heaven swears
by the Throne of God and by
Him who sits on it
20
Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
21
And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.
2 Chron 6:2.
22
And he that shall swear by heaven,
sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
