Bible. God. Father
The LORD God is our Father
3
Confess Him before the Gentiles, ye children of Israel: for He hath scattered us among them.
4 There declare his greatness, and extol Him before all the living: for He is our Lord, and He is the God our Father for ever. 5 And He will scourge us for our iniquities, and will have mercy again, and will gather us out of all nations, among whom He hath scattered us.
15
Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where
is
thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me?
are they restrained?
Deu 26, 15.
Brh 2, 16.
16 Doubtless thou art our father 17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance. Rom 11, 7. 2Co 3, 14. Deu 32, 9.
8
But now, O LORD, thou
art
our father
9 Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people
8
Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth,
and
with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.
Deu 30, 3.
9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. 2Co 6, 18. Exo 4, 22.
Our Father (Πάτερ ἡμῶν)
9
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father (Πάτερ ἡμῶν)
which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Luk 11, 2.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
2
And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father (Πάτερ ἡμῶν)
which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
Mat 6, 9.
3 Give us day by day our daily bread. Pro 30, 8. 4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. 1Pe 5, 8. 2Pe 2, 9. 1Co 10, 13.
