9 And the LORD God called (וַיִּקְרָא יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים) unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? Gen 2, 17.

And God (אֱלֹהִים) said unto Moses…

3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Jos 5, 15.
6 Moreover he said, I am the God (אֱלֹהִים) of thy father, the God (אֱלֹהִים) of Abraham, the God (אֱלֹהִים) of Isaac, and the God (אֱלֹהִים) of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God (אֱלֹהִים). Mat 22, 32. Mar 12, 26. Luk 20, 37.

8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

And God said (אֱלֹהִים) to Jonah…

6 And the LORD (יְהֹוָה) God (אֱלֹהִים) prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd.
7 But God (אֱלֹהִים) prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd that it withered.
8 And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God (אֱלֹהִים) prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live. Jas 1, 11. Psa 121, 6. Rev 16, 8.
9 And God said (וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים) to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.
