Bible. Enmity
Enmity between the serpent and the Woman
Since the time of Adam's sin, the enmity between the serpent and the woman, the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman, has determined the history of mankind.
14
And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou
art
cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field;
upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
Пс 71, 9.
15
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between
thy seed
( τοῦ σπέρματός σου)
and
her seed
( τοῦ σπέρματος αὐτῆς);
it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
We wrestle against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high
places
(Eph 6:12).
10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Рим 13, 12.
1 Фес 5, 8.
12
For
we wrestle
not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high
places.
Ин 12, 31.
Ин 14, 30.
Еф 2, 2.
Born of God conquers the world
In this struggle,
whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world
(1 John 5:4),
so
you must be born again
(John 3:7).
31
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
Ин 14, 30.
Ин 16, 11.
32
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth,
will draw all
men
unto me.
Ин 3, 14.
In this struggle, those who are the good seed, the wheat, and fight on the side of the woman, are the sons of the Kingdom. And whoever grows like a tares, he fights on the side of the serpent, these are the sons of the evil one
(Matthew 13:38).
37
He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38
The field is the world (ὁ κόσμος);
the good seed are
the children of the kingdom
(οἱ υἱοὶ τῆς βασιλείας);
but the tares are
the children of the wicked
one
(οἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ πονηροῦ);
39
The enemy that sowed them is the devil (ὁ διάβολος);
the harvest is the end of the world (συντέλεια τοῦ αἰῶνός);
and the reapers are the angels.
Иоил 3, 13.
Откр 14, 15.
God the Creator is the Lord of the field on which the seeds are sown: like the good seed, so are the tares. Finding two types of seeds in the field, He decides to “let both grow together until the harvest”
(Matthew 13:30).
He decides to watch the growth of the crop until the final stage of fruiting.
The Creator wants to see how His creation, for its part, will itself, with joy and love, wish to participate in the process of growth. God the Creator invites the creation to participate in the process of creation itself, offers to respond with love to the Creator's love and bring forth fruit many times over: “some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty”
(Matthew 13:23).
24
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed
good seed
in his field:
25
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field?
from whence then hath it tares?
28
He said unto them,
An enemy hath done this.
The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29
But he said, Nay;
lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30
Let both grow together until the harvest (ἄφετε συναυξάνεσθαι ἀμφότερα μέχρι τοῦ θερισμοῦ): and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first
the tares,
and bind them in bundles
to burn
them: but
gather the wheat into my barn.
End of enmity = end of story
The enmity between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman continues until either side defeats the other. The vanquished becomes the conqueror's slave, “of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage”
(2 Pet 2:19).
18
For when they speak great swelling
words
of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh,
through much
wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for
of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
Ин 8, 34.
Рим 6, 16.
Who does not work for the Lord,
he works for the serpent
Jesus Christ: “He that is not with me is against me;
and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad”
(Matthew 12:30).
30
He that is not with me is against me;
and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
31
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy
against
the
Holy
Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
Мк 3, 28.
Лк 12, 10.
1 Ин 5, 16.
32
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the
world
to come.
33
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good;
or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by
his
fruit.
34
O generation of vipers
( γεννήματα ἐχιδνῶν), how can ye, being evil, speak good things?
for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Лк 6, 45.
35
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Either this world or the Heavenly Father.
15
Love not the world, neither the things
that are
in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Мф 6, 24.
16
For all that
is
in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
“Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
(James 4:4).
4
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that
the friendship of the world is enmity with God?
whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Ин 15, 19.
Рим 8, 7.
2
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
Втор 32, 1.
3
The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib:
but
Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
Втор 32, 6.
4
Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers ( σπέρμα πονηρόν), children that are corrupters ( υἱοὶ ἄνομοι): they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
Ис 30, 9.
Ис 57, 3.
Дан 9, 5.
Our belonging to this or that offspring, although not definitively determined, is nevertheless not something indefinite. The Holy Spirit makes us children of God. By acquiring the Holy Spirit, we are born into eternal life. The Holy Spirit joins us to life with Jesus Christ, grants us eternal life.
The presence of God's peace is quite clearly felt. For example, N.A. Motovilov describes it this way: “I feel such calmness and peace in my soul that no words can express it”.
4
He is
the Rock, his work
is
perfect: for all his ways
are
judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right
is
he.
2 Цар 22, 2.
1 Кор 1, 9.
5
They have corrupted themselves, their spot
is
not
the spot
of his children ( οὐκ αὐτῷ τέκνα μωμητά:
they are
a perverse and crooked generation ( γενεὰ σκολιὰ καὶ διεστραμμένη).
Ис 1, 4.
12
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!
how
art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Дан 8, 10.
13
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
1 Ин 2, 16.
Иез 40, 2.
14
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will be like the most High.
15
Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Иез 32, 23.
16
They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee,
and
consider thee,
saying, Is
this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17
That
made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof;
that
opened not the house of his prisoners?
18
All the kings of the nations,
even
all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
19
But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch,
and as
the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit;
as a carcase trodden under feet.
20
Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land,
and
slain thy people: the seed of evildoers ( σπέρμα πονηρόν)
shall never be renowned.
Иов 18, 19.
9
That this
is
a rebellious people, lying children ( υἱοὶ ψευδεῖς), children
that
will not hear the law of the LORD:
Деян 7, 52.
4
Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers ( σπέρμα πονηρόν), children that are corrupters ( υἱοὶ ἄνομοι): they have forsaken the LORD ( ἐγκατελίπατε τὸν κύριον), they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
Ис 30, 9.
Ис 57, 3.
Дан 9, 5.
4
Against whom do ye sport yourselves?
against whom make ye a wide mouth,
and
draw out the tongue?
are
ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood ( σπέρμα ἄνομον),
Рим 9, 6.
(4)
‹…› But the
"seed"
( σπέρμα)
has a great deal in common with the
"sons"
( υιούς)
according to nature inself. For nature advances from the seed to the generation of sons, not only with regard to bodily generation, but also with regard to spiritual growth: the recipients of instructions advance from from the seeds of teaching to the likeness of the instructors, and for this reason they are called
"sons", or rather
sons of kingdom
when, receiving the seeds of salvation, they perfect themselves in accordance with those seeds, or
sons of hell
if through evil instruction they associate themselves with perdition.
‹…›
Wicked seed.
That is
the tare sown among the pure wheat by an enemy,
which coming tofruition became the
lawless son, being
the son of perdition
and
the son of hell.
For this reason, those who instead of being
sons of the Most High
become
lawless sons,
and instead of remaining in the divine generation become
wicked seed,
are worthy of lament. Moral wickedness is destructive first of all for those who have it, for the uttermost degree of wickedness is in discord with itself.
But what is the seed of the serpent?
These are his slanderers — fallen angels, and those people who are led by the spirit of this enemy of God are seeded with the devil's direction. Therefore, John the Baptist and other prophets call such people offspring of vipers, meaning this spiritual viper. The Savior Himself calls them children of the devil.

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you;
but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Дан 12, 1.
Флп 4, 3.
Coming to this world, we enter into a struggle. There are two sides to this enmity, and we take one side or the other. As long as time lasts and the judge's decision regarding us has not yet been issued, we fight to the best of our ability. The life of each of us is filled with victories and defeats. In trying to define ourselves, we can even change sides in this struggle: become the seed of the serpent and fight for his victory;
or return back to the woman's camp, becoming her offspring. Such changes are possible while we live in the time allotted to us. Time is running out and the decision of the judge is determined about us:
in what I find, in that I judge,
says the Lord.
1
Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2
Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
4 Цар 9, 17.
3
If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
4
Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning;
if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
5
He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning;
his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
6
But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned;
if the sword come, and take
any
person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity;
but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
7
So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel;
therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
Ис 58, 1.
Иез 3, 17.
8
When I say unto the wicked, O wicked
man, thou shalt surely die;
if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked
man
shall die in his iniquity;
but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Иез 24, 8.
Деян 18, 6.
9
Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it;
if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity;
but thou hast delivered thy soul.
10
Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel;
Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins

Say unto them,
As

Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness;
