Theotokos. Icon. The Queen Stands At Your Right Hand

«The Queen Stands At Your Right Hand» — an iconic representation of Christ in Majesty or Christ Pantocrator: enthroned, carrying a book, and flanked by the Virgin Mary and St. John the Baptist. It is the well-known iconographical type of Deesis (greek: δέησις — prayer).

This iconography illustrates the text of 45th psalm: «Kings' daughters [were] among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir». Theotokos is the Queen and Christ is the King.
