The Heart and Its Significance in the Spiritual Life of ManHas developed a peculiar variant of Christian Platonism. The idea of Yurkevich — objectively real essence of things, its raison d'etre, "rule" and "law" of its existence. Recognizing the importance of experience and observation, put forward the demand to find and interpret the idea of a phenomenon existing reality. At the heart of anthropology Yurkevich — biblical teaching about the role of the "heart" as the focus of the spiritual life of man, which, according to Yurkevich precondition for true knowledge. Idealist criticism Yurkevich work by Chernyshevsky, "The Anthropological Principle in Philosophy", marked the beginning of a stormy debate (statements by Chernyshevsky, M.A. Antonovich, etc.), which had wide public resonance.
