Father Boris Nikitich Kiryanov

Boris Nikitich Kiryanov is an Orthodox priest.
Disabled veteran of the Great Patriotic War of the 1st group (ended the war in Prague on May 9, 1945).

In 1947 he entered the Leningrad Theological Seminary, and a year later he entered the Theological Academy.
In 1958, during Khrushchev's persecution of the Church, he was sentenced under the political article 58, paragraph 10 to 4 years in prison and 2 years in exile.
In 1988 he was rehabilitated by the Supreme Court of the RSFSR.

On November 28, 1976, in Tobolsk, Boris Nikitich was ordained by Bishop of Omsk and Tyumen Maxim (Krokha Boris Ivanovich), whom Fr. Boris knew from the time of joint studies at the Academy.

For some time Fr. Boris served in the Transfiguration Cathedral in Leningrad.
