Francisco Marto Fatima. Personalities Lucia Santos

Jacinta Marto

Born: March 11, 1910; Aljustrel, Portugal
Died: February 20, 1920;

The Conversion of Sinners

“Oh, Lucia,” Jacinta revealed to her, “our Lady was here. She came to us both. She is going to take Francisco very soon, and she had a question for me.”
“What was the question, Jacinta?”
“She asked would I like to convert more sinners, and I told her yes I would — yes, yes, I would. She said then that I must go to two hospitals, but not to be cured. I am to make further sacrifice for the love of God, and to atone for the sins of people against our Lady's Immaculate Heart. That is what she told me, Lucia.”

Father John de Marchi, I.M.C.

Jacinta felt Our Lord in her hart

She [Jacinta] desired very much to attend daily Mass like Lucia, but was too sick to do so. Lucia would visit her daily on her way home from receiving Holy Communion. On one of these visits Jacinta said to her:

“Come very close to me for you have Our Lord in your heart. I don’t know how it happens but I feel Our Lord in me and I understand what He says even if I don’t see Him or hear Him. It is so good to be with Him.”
