Charles X, King of France

Charles X (Charles Philippe de France) reigned as King of France and of Navarre from 16 September 1824 until 2 August 1830 (until July Revolution of 1830). Charles X was a younger brother to Kings Louis XVI and Louis XVIII.

Born: 9 October 1757;  Palace of Versailles, France
Died: 6 November 1836; Gorizia, Austrian Empire (now in Italy)

King of France and of Navarre: 16 September 1824 — 2 August 1830 (5 years, 320 days) 

The July Revolution: 26–29 July 1830.

As a result of the July Revolution 1830 Louis Philippe I, King of the French (1830–1848), succeeded Charles X to the throne.
