Grace permeates the entire life of the Curch. It is through the Church that Grace flows to all of God's creations. When the Church will find itself on the brink of extinction the flow of the energies of Grace will cease.

Upon falling away from Christ, who is the «light of the world» and the «light of life» (Jhn.8:12), the world will enter the «power of darkness» (Luk.22:53).

The Great Tribulation — Communism

On Novenber 14, 1965, Conchita told Weber: “The pope will go to Russia, to Moscow. As soon as he returns to the Vatican, hostilities will break out in different parts of Europe.”

The visionaries saw that “the communists would have taken over the whole world and it would be very hard to practise the religion, for priests to say Mass or for people to open the doors of the churches”. This conclusion was derived not only from the vision in front of the eyes of the girls, Our Lady herself explained this to the visionaries of Garabandal.

In 1946, Sister Lucia, was interviewed by american historian William Thomas Walsh. Sister Lucia was one of three visionaries to whom the Virgin Mary appeared several times during 1917 in the small village of Fatima, Portugal.

On November of 1980 John Paul II had a discussion with a select group of German Catholics in Fulda, Germany. [Later this discussion has been published in the German magazine Stimme des Glaubens, in the October 1981 issue.]

Explaining the delay in the publication of the Third Secret of Fatima John Paul II said: “Given the seriousness of the contents, my predecessors in the Petrine office diplomatically preferred to postpone publication so as not to encourage the world power of Communism to make certain moves”.

Obviously, the Vatican understands clearly the grave seriousness of the situation if the errors of Russia will spread throughout the world. Our Lady alone will be able to stop the calamities which approach. From mankind's side it is still necessary that the Consecration of Russia must be done exactly as Our Lady had demanded it. But it is not done yet and the people of Earth are threatened by the crude communist militant atheism.

Some priests will be communists

«The Church is the centre of the universe, the sphere in which its destinies are determined» (Vladimir Lossky, The mystical theology of the Eastern Church, Ch.IX: Two Aspects of the Church). If the shepherds of the Church, who freely and intensionally consecrated themselves to the service of God, are disoriented, then the flock is confused too and the corruption spreads to the entire society: “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted?” (Mat.5:13).

Garabandal predicts the confusion among priests and a loss of their concentration and focus on Christ. Christ is the “the way, the truth, and the life” (Jhn.14:6). As a result of this, they will become the «blind leaders of the blind»: “if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch” (Mat.15:14).

Church would appear to be on the point of perishing

When the concentration of the Church leaders is deflected away from Christ towards the delights of this world, the people will move away from the «blind leaders»: “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch” (Mat.15:14). As a result of this the Church would appear to be on the point of perishing, and if the salt have lost its savour “it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” (Mat.5:13).

Msgr. Eugenio Pacelli, the future Pope Pius ХII, prophesied that “A day will come when the civilized world will deny its God, when the Church will doubt as Peter doubted. She will be tempted to believe that man has become God. In our churches, Christians will search in vain for the red lamp where God awaits them. Like Mary Magdalene, weeping before the empty tomb, they will ask, 'Where have they taken Him?'”

When thou art in tribulation… if thou turn to the LORD thy God…

³⁰ When thou art in tribulation (צַר tsar), and all these things are come upon thee, [even] in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
³¹ (For the LORD thy God [is] a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

Deu.4:30-31

⁹ After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
¹⁰ And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

¹⁵ Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

Rev.7:9-15

Great tribulation, such as was not to this time

²¹ For then shall be great tribulation (θλῖψις μεγάλη), such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
²² And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Mat.24:21-22

In the last days perilous times shall come

¹ This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
² For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
³ Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
⁴ Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
⁵ Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
⁶ For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
⁷ Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
⁸ Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

Great tribulation to those who commit adultery with Jezebel

¹⁸ And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet [are] like fine brass;
¹⁹ I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last [to be] more than the first.
²⁰ Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
²¹ And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
²² Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation (εἰς θλῖψιν μεγάλην), except they repent of their deeds.
²³ And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
²⁴ But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
²⁵ But that which ye have [already] hold fast till I come.
²⁶ And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
²⁷ And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Rev.2:18-29

Come, and let us return unto the LORD
