Bible. Punishment for our sinsOur uncircumcised heart will be subject to punishmentIf we despise the statutes of the Most High, and if our soul is abhorred by His laws, then He will also turn His face against us. If we do not continue to improve and will continue to walk contrary unto Him, then He will rage in every way possible to increase our punishment for our iniquities at each next stage of our confrontation with Him. We will be scattered from the place of His presence. Our enemies will prevail over us, the adversaries will dominate us and will destroy us. Almighty will win this confrontation. At last, those who remain acknowledge their iniquities and the iniquities of their fathers and will be tolerated for their sins. Finally, our uncircumcised heart will submit. We will turn to the Lord God with all our hearts. Then the Most High will remember His covenant with our forefathers and he won’t be indignant at the rest, lest we would be destroy utterly. He will remember us, for He is our Lord and our God.
