33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace (ἐν ἐμοὶ εἰρήνην ἔχητε). In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer (θαρσεῖτε); I have overcome the world (ἐγὼ νενίκηκα τὸν κόσμον). 1Jo 4, 4. 1Jo 5, 4. 1Co 15, 57.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that loveth his life in this world (εν τω κοσμω τουτω) shall lose it.

25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world (εν τω κοσμω τουτω) shall keep it unto life eternal. Mat 10, 39. Mar 8, 35. Luk 9, 24. Luk 14, 27.
26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. Jhn 17, 24.

17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world (εν τω κοσμω τουτω).

Christ will draw all men unto Him.

19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

The Lord said to Joshua, the son of Nun: “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you” (Jos 1:3), just “ be strong and of a good courage(Jos 1:6). But the people of Israel had to act himself, to go in to possess the land which the LORD their God giveth them to possess it. (Jos 1:11).

1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying, Exo 17, 9. Num 27, 18.
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Deu 34, 5.

7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. Heb 3, 5.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Psa 1, 2.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,
11 Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it. Jos 3, 2.

When Lord is with you, no man shall set on you to hurt you (Act 18:10).

To turn the Gentiles from darkness to light,
and from the power of Satan unto God

15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
