Bible. Consecrate / Dedicate for destruction (חָרַם charam)

Everything devoted is most holy to the LORD

Everything devoted is most holy to the LORD. No persons or things devoted to destruction may be ransomed; they must be put to death.

28 Notwithstanding no devoted (חֵרֶם cherem) thing (πᾶν δὲ ἀνάθεμα), that a man shall devote (חָרַם charam) (ὃ ἐὰν ἀναθῇ) unto the LORD of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the LORD (קֹֽדֶשׁ־קָֽדָשִׁים הוּא לַיהוָֽה) (ἅγιον ἁγίων ἔσται τῷ κυρίῳ). Num 21, 2. Jos 6, 17. 1Sa 15, 3.
29 None devoted (חֵרֶם cherem) (πᾶν ὃ ἐὰν ἀνατεθῇ), which shall be devoted (חָרַם charam) of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death. Jos 6, 17. Jdg 11, 39.

None of the condemned things are to be found in your hands.

13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known; 2Sa 20, 1. 1Ki 21, 10. 2Co 2, 15.
14 Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
15 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly (חָרַם charam), and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword. Jos 22, 12. Deu 2, 34.
16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.
17 And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers; Deu 7, 25-26. Jos 6, 17. Jos 7, 13.
18 When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.

And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD and the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel.

1 And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners. Num 33, 40.
2 And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy (חָרַם charam) (ἀναθεματιῶ) their cities. Lev 27, 28.
3 And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed (חָרַם charam) them and their cities: (ἀνεθεμάτισεν αὐτὸν καὶ τὰς πόλεις αὐτοῦ) и and he called the name of the place Hormah. Jos 2, 9.

32 Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.
33 иAnd the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people. Num 21, 24.
34 And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed (חָרַם charam) the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain: Deu 3, 6. Deu 13, 15. Deu 20, 16.
35 Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.

Whoever sacrifices to the gods shall be destroyed

20 He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed (חָרַם charam). Deu 13:13, 15.
