What had been confided, regarding this, in 1917 is the following: she asked for them to be taken to Haven. The Most Holy Virgin replied, “I will take Jasinta and Francisco shortly; but you will stay here for some time to come. Jesus wants to use you to make me known and loved. He wishes to establish the devotion to My Immaculate Heart throughout the world. I promise salvation to whoever embraces it; these souls will be dear to God, like flowers put by Me to adorn His throne.”

“Will I be here alone?” she asked sadly. “No, daughter. I will never leave you. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the pathway that will lead you to God.”

On December 10, 1925, there appeared to her, the Most Holy Virgin, and by her side, on a luminous cloud, was a Child. The Most Holy Virgin, putting a hand on her shoulder, showed her, at the same time, a Heart ringed round with thorns, that she held in her other hand. At the same time, the Child said: “Have pity on the Heart of your Most Holy Mother, that is covered with thorns, which ungrateful men at every moment stick in It, without there being anyone to make an act of reparation to take them out.”

Then the Most Holy Virgin said: “Look, daughter, at My Heart, surrounded with thorns, which ungrateful men at every moment pierce me, with blasphemies and ingratitude. Let you, at least, strive to console Me, and tell all those who during five months, on the first Saturday, go to confession, receive Holy Communion, say a Rosary, and keep Me company for fifteen minutes, meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary, for the intention of making reparation to Me, I promise to assist them at the hour of death, with all the graces necessary for the salvation of their souls.”
